About Mrs. Johnson! This is Mrs. Johnson's eighth year teaching in the Langley School District. Mrs. Johnson has taught a wide range of elementary grade levels from 2-7. Before teaching in the Langley School District, Mrs. Johnson had the opportunity to teach Tibetan refugees in a small village in Northern India. Mrs. Johnson is super excited to be a part of the James Hill Elementary team for another year!
Aside from Mrs. Johnson's passion for teaching and inspiring her students to find their own passions, she also enjoys traveling, eating sushi, and spending time with her husband and daughter!

About Mr. Verhoven! This is Mr. Verhoven's first year teaching in the Langley School District. Mr. Verhoven recently completed his student teaching practicum at Alice Brown Elementary in a Grade 6/7 class and is very excited to join the James Hill Elementary staff and community this year!
His favourite place to travel is to Disneyland and in his free time Mr. Verhoven enjoys watching Harry Potter and Marvel movies and cheering for his favourite hockey team, the Chicago Blackhawks. In addition to planning fun and engaging activities to do in the classroom, Mr. Verhoven is also busy planning for his wedding in the summer.
